Senior Secondary

The Senior Secondary School comprises three levels – SS1, SS2 and SS3. The academic aptitude and interests of the students during the three years of Junior Secondary School determine the career paths to which they would be streamlined at the Senior Secondary School. Students offer a minimum of eight and maximum of nine subjects from a combination of compulsory and elective subjects for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) by W.A.E.C. and the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination by National Examinations Council (N.E.C.O.)

MMSS offers a two year programme of study leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Examination (IGCSE) award. An IGCSE with eight (8) subjects at grades A*-C is considered equivalent to the high school diploma in the U.S.A.

Students commence the programme in first term of SS1 and write the examinations in third term of SS2 (June). Examination results are usually released in August. Students may re-sit subjects not passed in November. We also prepare students for S.A.T. and TOEFL.
