Admission

We welcome applications for admission from students into JSS1, JSS2, SS1 and SS2. Students may not apply for admission into JSS3 and SS3 which are the final classes in the Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School respectively. Applicants will not be granted admission into those classes. Students seeking admission must satisfy the criteria and follow the procedure stated below.

Criteria


  • Students joining at JSS1:
    Applicants must be final year pupils of primary schools and must be ten years old by September of the year of entry.
  • Students transferring from other secondary schools and joining at JSS 2:
    Applicants must have completed JSS1 with creditable results in all subjects.
  • Students transferring from other secondary schools and joining at SS1:
    Applicants must have completed JSS3 and passed all subjects in B.E.C.E., the Junior Secondary School external examination, with a minimum of credit in all core subjects and electives relevant to the academic stream for which the students are seeking admission;
  • Students transferring from other secondary schools and joining at SS2:
    Applicants must satisfy the criteria in (iii) above and must have passed SS1 with creditable scores in all core subjects and electives relevant to the academic stream for which the students are seeking admission.
  • Transfer students will sit entrance examinations:
  • English Language, Mathematics and Basic Science for Junior Secondary;
  • English Language, Mathematics and Biology for Senior Secondary.

Procedure

  • 1

    Obtain a bank teller from the school reception and pay the non-refundable Application Fee of N5000 (five Thousand Naira) into the school bank account. With the teller, purchase a form from the school office and submit it before the examination date.

    Sit entrance examination in English Language, Mathematics and General Aptitude.
  • 3

    Attend interview.
  • 4

    Collect admission letter (depending on performance).
  • 5

    Pay non-refundable deposit to secure the admission.

As a policy, the school does not discuss test and examination results with parents/guardians.
